Shawn Sondergeld grew up in Toledo Ohio working in his Dad’s auto repair shop. Some of the fondest memories he has of being a young boy are cleaning parts and putting his dad’s tools away. They always had to be spotless and exactly in the right spot (when you come into his shop you will see it must have rubbed off). Shawn graduated from Whitmer High School in their automotive vocational program and went on to Owens College through the Ford ASSET Program. Shawn then went to work in several large dealerships where he obtained his ASE Advanced Master’s Certifications and his Ford Senior Master’s Certifications by the time he was 25 years old.
After working in dealerships for several years and in a custom shop for several more, he decided to go into business for himself and accept new challenges. He opened Street Productions Inc. in 2003. Since then he has had the pleasure of working on a lot of great cars and with the cool people that own them.
Our goal at Street Productions Inc. is to offer the HIGHEST quality craftsmanship that we can produce, which has always kept us striving to build vehicles that are unique and extremely detailed.
Our design approach is not to follow the fad of the day but to think outside the box and deliver a product that will have a timeless appeal.
When performing restoration work we compile as much information and pictures as we can so that we can assemble your vehicle like it just rolled off the show room floor.
Being a mechanical based shop allows us to focus all of our attention on the details of your custom car or restoration needs.
One of the aspects we enjoy most is the design. We make things clean, simple and attractive (why hide something when you can make it look so COOL!). It’s not only what you can see, but it’s what you don’t see that makes a difference in how good a job has been done and how reliable a vehicle will be.
It’s our belief that there should be no area of the vehicle that is not built to the highest level of craftsmanship. We treat each vehicle as if it were our own. Having a clean, well organized shop ensures that each vehicle as well as all of its parts is kept in excellent condition and inventoried.
We strive is to make our customer’s experience with us as enjoyable as possible. We welcome customers to ask questions, look things over and participate as much as they would like.
